Terms of Use

Last updated:

These terms govern your use of withfarra.co.uk. Farra is the trading name of Alex Williams, a sole trader based in England (“Farra”, “we”, “us”). By accessing or using our website, you agree to these terms.

1. Use of the website

You agree to use the website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe on the rights of others or restrict their access or use.

2. Our services

Farra provides a death administration assistance platform that includes:

Important: Farra is an informational tool and administrative assistant only. We do not provide legal, financial, or professional advice. For complex estates, legal matters, or professional guidance, please consult qualified solicitors, financial advisors, or other appropriate professionals.

2.1 AI chat assistance

Our AI chat feature uses artificial intelligence to provide guidance on death administration tasks. While we strive for accuracy:

3. Payment and subscriptions

Farra provides free guides to help after losing a loved one. Probate guidance through Farra requires a one-time payment of £295 for Farra Complete.

3.1 Payment processing

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your payment card details on our servers. By making a payment, you agree to Stripe's terms and conditions.

3.2 Your statutory right to cancel

As a consumer buying a digital service, you normally have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of purchase under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Because Farra gives you full access to your personalised plan immediately, by purchasing you expressly request immediate access and acknowledge that once we have supplied the service in full, you lose this statutory 14-day cancellation right.

In practice our voluntary guarantee below is more generous than the statutory right: it lasts 30days and applies even after you've used the service. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 to a service performed with reasonable care and skill and digital content that is as described.

3.3 30-day money-back guarantee

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with Farra within 30 days of purchase, contact us at support@withfarra.co.uk for a full refund — no form required, though you're welcome to tell us why so we can improve. After the 30-day guarantee period we do not normally offer refunds, but this does not limit any remedy the law gives you (for example, if the service is faulty or not as described).

3.4 Access duration

Your one-time payment provides lifetime access to your account, including all features available at the time of purchase. We reserve the right to modify features or discontinue the service with reasonable notice.

4. Content and accuracy

All content on this site is provided for informational purposes only. We aim to keep it accurate and up-to-date, but we do not guarantee its completeness, accuracy, or suitability for your personal or legal needs.

Death administration laws and procedures can vary by jurisdiction and change over time. Always verify information with official sources or professional advisors.

5. Intellectual property

All content, branding, and materials on this site belong to Farra unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, reproduce, or use any part of this site without written permission.

6. Third-party links

Our site may contain links to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Farra will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be excluded or limited by law. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. Any changes will be posted here, and your continued use of the site indicates your acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Dispute resolution

If you have a complaint or dispute, please contact us first at support@withfarra.co.uk. We will make every effort to resolve the matter informally.

If we cannot resolve your complaint, you may have the right to refer the matter to alternative dispute resolution or the courts.
